Join the Boycott
(Information provided by Jayme-Dawn of Surrey-Delta Pro-Life Society. The boycott list campaign is a partnership between Surrey-Delta Pro-Life Society and Life Decisions International)

Planned Parenthood is funded by the donations of hundreds of corporations. Please join us in reducing these by boycotting and writing letters to the corporate headquarters that donate. International Planned Parenthood Federation describes itself as the “oldest and largest voluntary reproductive health care” group in the world. Founded in 1916 by elitist and eugenics advocate Margaret Sanger, it began as the nation’s first birth control facility. They educate for early sexualization of children, promote birth control, and deem abortion as a moral right. They are the leading promoter and provider of abortion in the world and their business is killing our children and scandalizing our youth.

In their own words:

“Enforced motherhood is the most complete
denial of a woman’s right to life and liberty”

- Margaret Sanger, June 1914.

“It is essential to show the absurdity of abstinence only and anti-condom crusades. We must unmask their ideological motives. It is essential to demonstrate the truly dangerous consequences of their approach.”
- Steven Sinding, I.P.P.F. Director-general, March 2003

“I’m so proud of what we’re doing, offering abortion ... to complement the services we already offer”
Shelley D. Struchell P.P. B.E.C. March 2002

"There is no indication that ... pornography causes problems as long as it does not interfere with other aspects of a ...[teens] life"
teenwire.com P.P.F.A., May 2001

Let us work together to end all attacks on Human Life. Here is the plan:

1) Send an email to monthlytarget@gmail.com with “I will commit” in the subject line. In the body of the email, please tell us your name, age, city/town, province.

2) Upon contacting us, you will receive a welcome email along with sample boycott letters. You may use these letters as an inspiration for your personalized form letter. (If you write one letter and make it generic enough, you can reuse the letter from month to month)

3) The first week of every month you will receive an email with the “monthly target”. This will include a company, CEO name, address, and products they make. This information is what you insert into your personalized “form letter”.

4) The last week of the month, between the 25th and the 30/31st, you will drop the envelope in the mail. (If everyone does this in the same few days, the “monthly target” will be flooded with boycott letters)

*Please be aware that some corporate head quarters are in the U.S. or Europe but we still buy their products in Canada and they need to hear from us.

"Persons not residing in the country where listed corporations are based are urged to boycott products made by those companies if sold in their area. Tell the corporate affiliate that the funding of Planned Parenthood by any part of the company, regardless of its location, cannot be tolerated. We must act together and recognize no borders to make this boycott most effective."

We CAN make a difference
(Info from LifeSiteNews.com)

In January, Telus announced that it would start to offer their cell phone customers the service of downloading pornographic images or video clips for $3 or $4. Apparently, several thousand users registered for this service, according to Jim Johannsson, director of media relations for Telus. However, complaints were swift and in the hundreds and Telus was losing contracts. Archbishop Raymond Roussin, of the Vancouver Catholic archdiocese was one of those that actively opposed Telus’ decision. “Consumers have the power to shape the marketplace,” he said in a directive to churches and schools. “I strongly urge you to use your influence to protect our society from the destructive effects of the proliferation of pornography.” In February, Telus announced that they would drop the sale of cell phone porn.

Not only on Canada but in the United States have people shown to have an impact. The drug company Merck & Co. had been pushing for mandatory vaccination for all school girls against the sexually transmitted human papilloma virus (HPV) using the company’s newly developed vaccine. Opposition came from family and medical organizations pointing out that the vaccine was inadequately tested and had shown serious side effects. The Food and Drug Administration was accused of fast-tracking the drug without adequate testing. Facing such a strong opposition the drug company decided to pull back from promoting the Gardasil vaccine. We can make a difference, our voices count. As Winston Churchill said, never give up, never, never, never.

Palliative Care Association “neutral”
(Info from Euthanasia Prevention Coalition Newsletter #72)

At their November 22, 2006 board of directors meeting, the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPA) decided to change their position of opposition to assisted suicide to a position of “studied neutrality.” The British Medical Association took the same position on 2005 only to be faced with fierce opposition by their members at the 2006 annual meeting where 65% of the membership voted to oppose assisted suicide.

CHPA’s shift from opposition to “studied neutrality” regarding assisted suicide cannot go unchallenged. Please contact your local hospice/palliative care association and state:

I am opposed to the recent decision of the CHPCA board of directors to move to a position of “studied neutrality” on the issue of assisted suicide. I am concerned that if assisted suicide becomes part of hospice/palliative care the lives of the most vulnerable Canadians will be threatened by family members and medical care providers who question their “quality of life.”
