Clubs in Schools Some parents and others have voiced their concern about the Gay-Straight Alliance Clubs that have sprung up across the province in a number of schools. Many parents have wondered what to do about the situation. Well, there is something rather simple we can do. Christian students can start their own clubs in their schools. Look up the school policy and get a teacher to sponsor the club. If no teacher is interested in sponsoring the club, ask another adult in the school or a parent (preferably one who is on the PAC). Don’t be “in your face” but subtle. So instead of worrying about an existing Gay-Straight Alliance Club help your children or grandchildren start their own clubs in schools. Let’s be proactive and use the tools that are available to us.
