REAL Women Meeting Many of you might have wondered what the board members of REAL Women actually do. We would like to extend an invitation to you to attend one of our regular board meetings to meet the board members and listen in to what is going on. We need several new board members, women who have a heart for the family and would like to make a difference. We understand that most of you have family and jobs and time is limited. All of the board members do what they are able to do considering their other responsibilities. You might have thought about joining the board but because you do not have any prior experience felt intimidated. Well, many of the board members came unto the board “cold”. Most of us learned on the job, and what an experience it is. Please, don’t let the lack of experience deter you. You will find that the work is rewarding, that you feel you are doing your part in making this a better society and you will make new friends. Besides, it looks great on your Resume! Please, consider joining us at our next board meeting to chat with us and get acquainted with the type of work the board members do. Our next regular board meeting will be March 28, 2003 at the ABC Country Restaurant, 300-100 Schoolhouse, Coquitlam, at 7:30 p.m. IF YOU ARE COMING, PLEASE LET US KNOW BY CALLING DORIS AT 604-585-3068 or LILLIAN AT 604-597-0448. If you are from the Surrey area we can car pool. REAL Women needs your help. Please come out and meet the board members.
