3 D Look at BabyPregnant women love to see three dimensional images of their babies. Now, a 3_D ultrasound add-on, developed in Jerusalem, transforms any 2D ultrasound machine into a sophisticated 3D system at a fraction of the price of a 3D machine built from scratch, according to the company, Biomedicom. An ultrasound-style Graphical User Interface provides a user-friendly, side by side display of the 2D and 3D Image segmentation with unique orientation tools that demonstrate the correlation between the 2D slices and 3D volume, and between orthogonal planes in the multi-planar display.
